10 Years Ago March 6 1997 SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Bradley Aust, Warsaw, a junior youth ministries major at Northwestern College, is spending his spring break on a short-term mission trip in Ensenada, Mexico. In addition to construction projects, Aust and 10 other Northwestern students are working with children and youth programs at area churches and orphanages. 25 Years Ago March 6 1982 Warsaw district winners in the recent Knights of Columbus Free Throw Champion at Lincoln School were Pat O'Connell, Scott Robinia, Chad Brandenburg, Ken Kloser, Andrea Kralis, Lorie Loy and Debbie Simpson. 50 Years Ago March 6 1957 Warsaw High School's speech team won top honors at the Indiana Student Congress in Hammond. Duke Fisher, son of Rep. and Mrs. George Fisher, of near Leesburg, and Larry Poland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Poland, Winona Lake, were elected top senators and will represent Indiana in the National Student Congress at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, next June. The congress is sponsored by the National Forensic League. 75 Years Ago March 6 1932 Pierceton and Milford will represent Kosciusko County high schools in the district Latin contest this year to be held at Rochester. These two schools stood high in the county contest, which took place in Warsaw. The winners and their scores were: George Menzie, Pierceton, 142.5; Gwendoline Orn, Milford, 140.4; Herbert Gawthrop, Milford, 139.37; and Jayne Culbertson, Pierceton, 139.
