This is no surprise to me for I can look back many years ago when the very place they were digging used to be a cemetery. I used to pass that place when very small and seeing the graves was looking for something supernatural to happen there. My grandfather, Robert Chinworth, died Jan. 4, 1879, in the house which Tom Groninger owns at present near there. He had bought that farm from a man by the name of Baker four years before his death. The spot was then an old cemetery, some bodies had been removed even then. Buildings on that farm are the oldest of any standing in the Orion neighborhood for grandfather even when I was young had put the second roof on them, both barn and house. My father and uncle, William and John Chinworth, drove a dray line in Warsaw 70 years ago. We lived on South Columbia Street near the old bung factory in the house that belonged to the Pauls around the corner from the old Hibler home. I remember the pretty red-haired daughter of the Pauls named Tuela.”
