10 Years Ago Philip Swarts, 13, of Warsaw, served as a page for State Senator Kent Adams recently. Pages spend one day at the State House helping senators and Senate staff members with a variety of legislative duties and learning about the structure of Indiana's government. Swarts is an eighth-grader at Edgewood Middle School and the son of Dale and Susan Swarts, Warsaw.
25 Years Ago Youth for Christ/Atlantic Exchange Project Director Jerry Landrum has announced the participants in a multi-media tour of Holland and Sweden, Kristi Keele of Warsaw Community High School and Chris Jordan of Wawasee High School. The students will be featured in a multi-image program titled High School-USA. The presentation will follow the students through a "week" in their lives to show the young people in the European schools that they are visiting what life is like for American teenagers.
50 Years Ago Mary K. Evans, of Warsaw, will be the only Indiana member of Iowa State University's 72-voice "Iowa State Singers" when they appear in eight separate concerts during a tour of southeast Iowa. Mary is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Evans, Warsaw.

75 Years Ago Mr. and Mrs. R.O. Jackson of Winona Lake have spent the past two weeks on a trip through the West. From New York City they enjoyed a steamer cruise down the coast to Galveston, Texas. From there they went to Dallas and other points of interest in the West. Mrs. Jackson returned to Winona Lake Monday evening and Mr. Jackson is expected to arrive Friday.
