    Warsaw Community High School soccer standout Bobbi Wildman recently signed a letter of intent to play collegiately at Lee University. Lee U. is a NAIA Division I school near Chattanooga, Tenn. Last season, Wildman helped the Tigers to a school-best 13-3 record.

March 4 1983

    Airman Katherine J. Reith, daughter of Richard J. Reith, Warsaw, and Joann Reith, South Whitley, has graduated from the U.S. Air Force airframe repair specialist course at Chanute Air Force Base, Ill.

Graduates of the course learned how to repair airframe structures on high performance aircraft and earned credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

March 4 1958

    Etna Green's dressing room scene was one of wild jubilation Saturday night following the Cubs' 59-53 triumph over North Webster in the championship tilt of the Syracuse sectional tournament. It marked the first sectional title in Etna Green school history. Players are Russell Williamson, Ronnie Hoffer, Jim Long, Steve Huffman, Jim Stouder, Tom Huffman, Ed Stine, Larry Shively, Terry Abell and Larry Heisler. Their coach is Jim Robbins.
