    Cub Scout Pack 3715 of Jefferson School recently held their annual Pinewood Derby. This year's winners are: Chase Townsend, Tiger Cub and winner of most classic design; Trenton McClintock, Wolf; Paul Everly, Bear; Stephen Wright, Webelo 1 and pack champion; and Jared Boze, winner of the sleekest car design.

March 30 1984

    Allen Waggoner, the 15-year-old son of Ron and Roberta Waggoner, Warsaw, was seen sanding the side of a 12-foot flat bottom sailboat in the woodworking shop at Warsaw Community High School. He is making the sailboat to show in the Kosciusko County 4-H Fair in August, and to use it on Chapman Lake this summer.

March 30 1959

    Rozella Ford, of Warsaw, affixes her signature to a contract with the Lakeland Golfer's Association deeding 200 acres of land southwest of the city for the construction site of a new 18-hole golf course and picnicking grounds. The recreation center to be constructed by the newly formed association is to be named the "Rozella Ford Community Golf Course."

    The ladies of the Millwood Church held an all-day sewing at the home of Mrs. Earl Rapp recently. Those present were the Mesdames Grace Huffman, Maude Cain, Martha Laughman, Rebecca Rapp, Grace Anglin, Amanda Miller, Mildred Anglin, Tillie Anglin, Banka Hoffer and Hazel Higgins.
