POTPOURRI - From Days Of Yore - When Ulyssess Francis, of Claypool, began tearing down the 99-year-old farm house south of Mentone owned by Charles Tucker, he probably didn't expect to find publications of the day. Among the items found were a St. Mary's College commencement program from 1871; Kosciusko County Fair programs from 1877, 1878, 1880 and 1881; Albert Tucker's annual county auditor report from 1876 and 1878; and the E. Butterick & Co. Spring Catalogue from 1884. Francis donated the items to the Kosciusko County Historical Society.
