    Pamela Brower has been named manager of the Mentone and Burket offices of Farmers State Bank, President J.E. Caskey announced.

In addition to managing these two offices, Brower's duties include consumer, small business and farm lending.

    She is a homemaker, a mother and a grandmother. Now she is also a city councilwoman in Warsaw. Virginia Summe is the first and only woman to serve on the Warsaw City Council and she is rightfully proud of that. She admits that it is keeping her busy, but she loves it.

March 20 1959

    Duke Fisher, son of State Representative and Mrs. George Fisher, of Leesburg, ranks among the top 10 pre-med students at Indiana University. A sophomore and "straight A" student, Duke has been singled out for commendation by school officials.

March 20 1934

    The Past Noble Grand association met at the home of Bertha Byrer for a domino party. Sixteen members answered to roll call with current events. Four tables of dominoes were played with Mary Magner winning first prize, Mary Baughman second and Capitola Dinsmore, consolation.
