10 Years Ago Nathaniel Fisher, 24, of 5155 N. Bobwhite Drive, Warsaw, designed a logo that will represent Warsaw during its 150th year. Fisher chose an oval shape because “organic shapes derive from nature and have the ability to grow and expand.” The word “Warsaw” is in the center. The top banner incorporates the city’s nickname, “City of Lakes,” with its founding date of 1854. 25 Years Ago The Warsaw Board of Aviation Commissioners decided to sell all city-owned airport hangars to individual and business owners and invest the money in land acquisition during 1989.
