For the second time since construction started, firemen were called to the new Standard gasoline station being erected at the corner of Lake and Fort Wayne streets. The alarm, turned in at 6:30 o'clock, Tuesday evening, Jan. 14, was caused by a heater which spread fire to the wall. Slight damage was done. A month ago, a cement mixer caught fire. Russell Perry operates the station.
