Three local youths will be among the young Angus breeders that will lead the Indiana Junior Angus Association during 1999. They are Chad Zellers, Silver Lake, northeast director; Janelle Sommers, Silver Lake, National Junior Angus Association chairman; and Jason Harrold, Akron, northeast director.
POTPOURRI - Seems Mayor Jeff Plank found himself in quite a predicament recently. At the conclusion of the Warsaw Rotary Club meeting, Mayor Plank bent over to retrieve some papers and felt his trousers give way at the seems. His slacks ripped from the rear all the way to front, sending the mayor a scurrin' for cover.
SP/5 James A. Harvey, 30, son of William Harvey, Syracuse, has been appointed central office supervisor in the signal missile support agency at White Sands Millile Range in New Mexico. James, who entered the army in 1950, was previously stationed in Germany.
Roderick Amos, who attends Indiana Pharmacy College at Indianapolis, was the weekend guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Amos of East Center Street.
