B.J. Woodward, a sixth-grader at Jefferson Elementary and the son of Jeff and Cheri Bryan and Bruce and Darla Woodward, recently served as a Senate page for State. Sen. Kent Adams of Bremen.

Dr. and Mrs. Virgil G. Hursey entertained their club at bridge recently and the honor prize for high score went to Mrs. Carlyle D. Barnes and Melvin A. Markely; low score prizes were given Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Rex. Cloyce Thomas received the galloping prize.
