    What began over a cup of coffee ended in a bid for a Guinness Book World of World Records largest cappuccino.

Alpha Beta Java's David Sommer and Glamour Pools & Spas' Bruce Stichter began brewing 30 pounds of espresso beans early Saturday morning and ended with a gigantic cup of cappuccino by noon at the Detroit Street spa showroom.

    POTPOURRI - On The Run - Our own Cousin Clem, Art Chaney heading south to Florida to take part in the Gasparillia three-mile run. The run is named after a pirate who plundered the Florida coast, and is route is recreated in various races. Art, an octogenarian, seems to make a habit of running in these long races ... and always does quite well, thank you.

    Martha Perry, daughter of the Everett Perrys, Ind. 15 South, was recently cited for scholarly distinction by the faculty of Lake Erie College at Painseville, Ohio. Martha's a freshman in liberal arts.

    Janet Bash, junior student at Indiana University, has had the honor of being elected to the office of president of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She will serve in this capacity the remainder of this school year and until the spring of 1935.
