     Frankie Andreu, nine-time Tour de France cyclist and two-time U.S Olympian, spoke at the Rotary Club recently on cycling, Lance Armstrong and teamwork. In his 12 years as a professional cyclist, Andreu said he spent three years each in Belgium, Italy and France. The cycling season runs from February through October and he competed in approximately 110 races per year, putting more than 22,000 miles on his bike annually.

    Four Warsaw Community High School wrestlers advanced to the state meet and helped the team place second at the Goshen semistate Saturday. Those advancing are: Aaron Bruce, 14-pound champion; Nate Conley, 160-pound champ; Bobby Taylor, 103-pound champ; and Dan Moon, 130-pound runner-up. The coaches of the team are Scott Hutcherson (assistant), Dave Baumgartner (head coach) and Rich Welborn  (assistant coach).

    Dennis and Douglas Shively, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Max Shively, Leesburg, were pages in the House of Representatives recently in Indianapolis. Dennis is a freshman and Douglas a sixth-grader in the Leesburg school. The boys and their parents had lunch with Representative and Mrs. George Fisher.

    George Stephenson of Warsaw and his son, Norman, of Elkhart, are expected to return Tuesday from New York City where they were engaged in a two-weeks buying trip.
       Dorothy May Burwell, Adabelle Washburn, Buck Leedy, Wade Knisely attended a kid party recently at Columbia City. Miss Washburn favored with musical numbers on the program.
