MUNCIE - Karie Vanover of Warsaw recently became a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society at Ball State University.
Connie Martin, senior at Triton High School, has been selected as the Marshall County winner of the 1982-83 DAR Good Citizen competition.
Earl Stockmeyer received a gold atmospheric controlled clock from Joe Ettinger, chairman of the board of directors of Zimmer Manufacturing Co., during a recent party. Stockmeyer was honored for 30 years of continuous service with the firm. J.F. Hartle, president of the company, also presented pen and desk sets to Robert Taylor and Ronald Wiltrout for their 10 years of service; Elmer Ervin, Charles Ward, Judd Bumbaugh, James Cook, Clarence Deerwester and Jesse Rice for 15 years of service. Gold wrist watches were given to Everett Shoemaker, Merlin Long and William Hill for 20 years of service.
After serving 12 years on the bench as judge of the Kosciusko Circuit Court, L.W. Royse has opened an office for the general practice of law in the rear room upstairs over the Strand Theatre. Everybody know that Ex-Judge Royse for years has stood at the top of the legal profession in this part of the state.
