A photograph in the Oct. 30, 1963, Times-Union was taken at the home of Howard and Sarah Lee Levin, 815 E. Fort Wayne St. Of the 20 children in attendance at the neighborhood carnival, three became attorneys – Robert Rockhill, Rhonda Levin and Jason Levin; two became physicians – Kerry Levin and Jerry Aspaugh; Jane Heyde is a retired dentist; Margaret Rockhill is a certified public accountant.

Home Health Care Services opened its new facility at 902 Provident Dr., Warsaw, Nov. 21. HHCS had outgrown its offices on Union Street, the fourth time the group has “bursted at the seams” since it began in Kosciusko County in 1976. Groundbreaking had begun in June. The new building was designed by project architect Philip Panzica and was constructed by Panzica Construction Co., South Bend. New construction for the entrance to Oakwood Cemetery has begun. President Warren Tatter says, “It should all come together in the spring.”

Sidney’s Wildcats will be after their third straight basketball win in the “Game of the Week” special Friday at North Manchester following a lethal assault last night by Jerry Walther, which saw him scorch the nets for 43 points in an 88-60 win over Kingsbury. He pumped in 17 field goals, nine free throws, and received a solid scoring punch from teammate Henry Whitaker, who notched 20 for the evening. Also scoring for the Wildcats was J. Leiter, T. Leiter, Ousley, Haupert, Jenkins and Wright.

Warsaw High School’s 1938 football team will open the home football season here tonight when the Goshen Redskins invade the Tigers’ lair for a renewal of the long-standing Warsaw-Goshen rivalry. The Tigers played a 6-all tie with Bluffton last week. The team has been considerably strengthened by shifting Paul Latta, hard-charging tackle, to an end position and moving Bob Hunter from the reserves to Latta’s place. Although Coach Fisher has not stated his lineup, these boys are expected to draw starting assignments by reason of their showing in practice. Line: Billy Gill, Jack Olds, Paul Latta, Billy Hankins, Art Bayne, Charles Archer, Charles Hay. Backfield: Junior VanCuren (QB), Raymond Newby, Bob Bayne, George Glant in for Bob Buell. Substitutes: Hay, Kesler, E. Buell, Gable, Perkins.
