George Alexander was presented a “shadow box” in recognition of his many years of service as Pierceton town marshal. Kosciusko County Deputy Sheriff Chad Hill got his start in law enforcement as one of Alexander’s officers and made the shadow box featuring a pair of battered handcuffs and key, a PPD patch, an American flag, whistle and badge. A plaque shows Alexander’s service from April 1978 to June 12, 2003. He was appointed chief June 19, 1979.
