    Recently, four Kosciusko County 4-H youth attended the North American International Livestock Exposition in the Kentucky state fairgrounds in Louisville. While there, Cory Wiley, Kaitlyn Wiley, Caleb Wertenberger and Hayley Wertenberger participated in the National Junior Market Swine Show, the National Barnyard Olympics and the National Showmanship contest.

     Sarah Alt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Alt Jr., Warsaw, has been awarded Presidential and Music Scholarships to Valparaiso University where she is a sophomore in the College of Nursing. At VU, Sarah is a member of the Student Admissions Team, Choral Society and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She also serves as publicity chairperson for the VU chapter of the American Guild of Organists and plays co-ed volleyball.

    Miss Margaret Streby, 17, of Pierceton, a senior at North Webster High School, has been named a correspondent for the 1962-63 year to the national magazine for teenage girls, “ Co-Ed”. Margaret, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Streby, was selected for her qualities of leadership and her enthusiasm for home economics. Mrs. Sarah Perry is the  home economics teacher at North Webster High School.

    Miss Delores Smith, Bill Ladd, Mrs. Lydia Stokes, Mrs. Virgil Smith, Miss Frances Smith, Carl Dobbins, Miss LaVon Smith, Miss Jana Hay and Buck Faris attended the basketball game at Huntington High School Friday.
