No serious injuries were reported in an accident that closed the westbound lanes of U.S. 30 for more than eight hours Monday. Two semi tractor/trailers and a truck were involved in the 5:07 p.m. accident west of CR 800W, near Atwood. Because both semi rigs were hung up on highway infrastructure, it took crews much labor to get vehicles back on the road again.

This week the Christmas Seal sale begins in Warsaw and Kosciusko County by the Kosciusko County Tuberculosis Association, and 250,000 seals will be placed in the mail. To give you a more definite idea of what 250,000 seals would look like if put to work, if you would begin at the courthouse and stick them consecutively on the pavement they would form a solid line to the Sunday Tabernacle at Winona Lake and back again, or more than four miles.
