Julie Reed, designer; Grant Reed; Jennifer Manwaring, designer; and Rick Morris of Farmer's State Bank, sponsor, were present at the award. The proceeds from the annual Festival of Trees go to support the programs of the Health Care Foundation, including Beds and Britches Etc., (BABE) and ParentShare.25 Years AgoLt. Gov. John M. Mutz will be the featured speaker at this year's greater Warsaw Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet Jan. 22 at the Shrine Building in Warsaw. Mutz is the director of the Indiana Department of Commerce, which houses various state divisions, including industrial development, international trade, economic development, tourism and agriculture.50 Years AgoThis recipe is from a Woman's Exchange column for Pineapple Nut Bread.This pineapple nut bread is perfect for party fare or an extra lunch-box treat. For 1 loaf, 9x5x2-1/2 inches, blend thoroughly 2 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 cup chopped walnuts. Add 1-1/4 cups of undrained pineapple tidbits. Add 3 cups biscuit mix all at once, stirring quickly until thoroughly combined. Turn into well greased loaf pan. Allow to set about 30 minutes, then bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until done.
