    Wawasee High School graduate Jeffery Grindle recently became a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society at Ball State University.

Grindle is the son of Bruce and Judy Grindle, Syracuse, and the grandson of Mary Luckenbill, Akron. He is a computer science major and will graduate from BSU in May.

    Robert Hart, a 30-year employee of Little Crow Foods, received a longevity award from Robert Maish, president of Little Crow Foods. Gene Engle received a 25-year award, Joe Railsback Sr. received a 10-year award and Blanche Knepper and Sol Burkhart were each honored for their five years of service.

    Whitley Bell, of Warsaw, scored 22 points to lead North Carolina State's 86-73 college basketball triumph last Wednesday over South Carolina. The State Captain hit eight field goals and six our of seven free throws for top honors.

    The Warsaw "Sing-Song" girls, Marjorie Baker Ethel Witham and Wilma Cochern, will present a program of music over station WOWO, Fort Wayne, between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 29.
