For nearly 25 years, Marlene Weller has been the voice of the Kosciusko County courthouse. At the end of the year, she’s retiring. “The loss of Marlene as the voice of the county will be a void that’s hard to fill after her years of manning the switchboard,” said Sue Ann Mitchell, county auditor. “She knows things she just knows she knows.” Weller has worked with five county auditors during her years, beginning her job Feb. 1, 1978.
