The west-side window of the old Eagles building on Center Street in Warsaw is where Jeff and Vicki Shepherd have set their bejeweled, pastel-colored carousel horses. Vicki said she first got the idea on a visit to Tennessee. “In the middle of an awful junkyard was a decorated horse. We brought it home and found it was full of bees,” she said. She decorates the horses with strings of beads, little mirrors, silk flowers, lace and miniature lights. She has completed 12 horses this year. Vicki and Jeff love to watch the reaction of the kids. 25 Years Ago
