POTPOURRI - Handyman Featured - Paul Henning of Warsaw is featured as one of the "No. 1 Country Handymen" in the February/March issue of "Country," the magazine for people who live in or long for the country.
The 1984 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges will carry the names of 18 students from Greenville College. Included in this list of the country's most outstanding campus leaders are Vondria B. Andrews, Daniel E. Maurer and Pamela A. Maurer, all of Winona Lake. All are graduates of Warsaw Community High School - Vondria and Pam with the class of 1980 and Dan with the class of 1979.
The eight players receiving trophies for being selected to the Times-Union All Tourney team by the coaches are Mark Crain, John McFarren and Don Arms, all of Pierceton; Bob Swenson and LaMar Kilmer, Syracuse; Jon Sroufe and Tom White, North Webster; and Larry Heisler, Etna Green.
Bertha Bittikoffer, Agnes Gochenour, Leesburg, Pearl Werntz, Lottie Anderick and Venua Hathaway, this city, have returned from Lafayette, where they attended during the past week the State Agriculture conference, which was held at Purdue University. The ladies were delegates from the home economics departments.
