Warsaw took 1-2 in the event and swept the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke. Bill Price, Etna Green fire chief, said the large barn fire south of Etna Green Thursday was located on the Tom Mikel farm, corner of CRs 1000W and 125N. A combine and wagon loaded with soybeans was pulled out of the barn by firefighters, but hay and other small equipment was destroyed. There were no injuries. Damage was estimated at $11,000. 50 Years Ago On Nov. 13, 1963, automobile dealer Fred McKown Sr. was made a Shriner at Indianapolis, the youngest 32nd degree Mason and Shriner in the United States. Last night he went to Alexandria where a banquet was held in his honor, and he received a 50-year pin. Burket Postmistress Mrs. Clifford Eherenman and husband attended ceremonies at Santa Claus, dedicating the new Christmas stamp for 1963. Paul Sittler, Silver Lake postmaster, and his wife also attended. John J. Moltz, Springhill Acres, attended the William Woods College Dad’s Day activities and visited his daughter Mary, a sophomore.
