Kevin L. Deardorff, senior vice president of Lake City Bank and 1999 United Way campaign chairman, received the Robert Ellison Volunteer of the Year award from C. Wayne Hendrix, president of KCH and of the United Way of Kosciusko County Board of Directors.
This year, 1984, was a banner year for Rob Wilkins, the new director of Information Services at Grace College and Seminary.
Miss Jean Kelly, daughter of the John Kellys, Warsaw, was among the college students home for Thanksgiving weekend. Jean attends Hanover College, Hanover, Ind.
Thanksgiving Day the following guests enjoyed dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Parker; Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Henderson and daughter, Norma, of Winona Lake, Harold Henderson of Silver Lake, Miss Etta Henderson, F.C. Henderson, L.E. Henderson and son, Evan, all of Gary, and Maurice Davis of Chicago.
