Woodyard reports that he had a brood sow which farrowed 11 pigs last spring and raised all of them. He kept one of her gilts for breeding purposes and sold the other 10 at six months old. These pigs brought $93.30 per hundred, making a total of $234.36. The same sow farrowed 11 pigs again this fall and Woodyard is raising them.
