Dr. Steven Hollar was elected by his peers to serve as a delegate for the American Dental Association meeting in Philadelphia last month, the first time he had the opportunity to represent Indiana at the national conference legislating dental policy. "I was pleased to represent all of North Central Indiana and our patients, as dentistry faces many challenges in our future," he said.

The U.S. Army tank on the courthouse lawn was lifted from its perch Saturday, Nov. 17, and moved to Pierceton, where it will be sandblasted and repainted.

50 Years
Three members of the First Church of God at Collamer will be recognized for 50 years of continuous membership during the 75th anniversary of the church Sunday, Nov. 7; Mrs. Floyd Sibert, Mrs. Jason Taylor and Russell Brock. Mrs. Mollie Nichols, of North Manchester, has been a member for 67 years. Rev. I.W. Markley was the first pastor of the new church, dedicated Nov. 24, 1890; present pastor is Rev. Burris Moore.
Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club observed its 15th year in Warsaw and 37th in America and Canada at a luncheon at Wagon Wheel Restaurant. Tables were decorated with autumn leaves and miniature covered wagons, symbolic of pioneer women taking supplies to new settlers. Mrs. Lenore Seiffert, Welcome Wagon hostess.
75 Years
Life-long residents of near Mentone, the George Arnsbergers, will celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 10, with an open house at their residence hosted by their six children: Charles, Ralph and Lee, Mentone; Sollmon, Lima, Ohio; Mrs. Eva Madeford, Mentone; Mrs. Grace Gifford, Hammond.
State Representative Hobart Creighton, of near Warsaw, has been obtained by the local American Legion post to speak at the Armistice Day observance next Monday on the south side of the court house, as announced by Vice Commander Herbert Espich. Company L firing squad will salute the dead; Robert Kelly Jr., trumpeter, will play "Taps." Commander Wayne Rudd will speak, with music by the Warsaw High School Band.
