   Jean Green is this year’s recipient of the annual Poling Scholarship for the Ivy Tech College/Warsaw campus. The scholarship is provided by the Ivy Tech Foundation to a current student at each Ivy Tech campus throughout the state. Green earned a technical certificate in office administration from Ivy Tech in 1999 and currently is working on an associate’s degree in business administration. She lives in Warsaw.

    For her next summer vacation, 13-year-old Mollie Grieser wants to go to Russia, and she has a chance. Grieser, a student at Warsaw Middle school, was selected to participate in a play sponsored by the National Peace Child Foundation. The play will be performed in several Russian cities during a one-month tour this summer. Grieser is the daughter of John and Kathy Grieser, Warsaw.

    Miss Lois Ann Taber, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Floyd W. Taber, Winona Lake, has been selected by the faculty of Bryan College at Dayton, Tenn., along with three other seniors for recognition in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. Lois is junior class secretary, on the annual staff, treasurer of the Foreign Missions Fellowship and member of the Christian Service Association on the campus.

     Marion Coplen and David Livengood, students at Indiana Central College, Indianapolis, are spending the Thanksgiving vacation at their homes in Warsaw.
   Jimmy Turner and Miss Charlotte Marie Butler visited recently in Fort Wayne with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Turner and sons, Gaylord and Gordon Jr.
