Jill Baker of Mentone has been named to the dean's list at the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne for the fall semester with a grade point average of 3.7. She is the daughter of Ed and Pam Baker.
Jean Northenor and Robert M. Ellison received plaques after being named Warsaw's "Man and Woman Of The Year" at the 72nd Annual Greater Warsaw Chamber of Commerce Banquet. It was the 25th award, presented by the Chamber of Commerce, The Times-Union and Radio Stations WRSW AM-FM.
John T. Holloway, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Holloway, Rochester, is serving aboard the submarine tender USS Bushnell based at Key West, Fla. John, who entered the Navy in 1955, has been awarded the Good Conduct Medal.
B.H. Eagle recently was elected a new director of the Warsaw Building, Loan and Savings Association of Warsaw. The election was made at the annual meeting of stockholders and directors of the association. D.A. Peterson and J.E. Headly were re-elected to serve as directors for the year 1934.
