A former Warsaw resident was on an episode of "The Practice" on ABC which aired on Sunday. Bernard White lived with his family in Warsaw from 1960 to 1966 and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. White's interest in show business began when he was young. He became interested in acting through his sister, Ivy, who also went to Warsaw High School.

Matt Brown, a sophomore at Wabash College, has been named co-editor of The Bachelor (student newspaper) on campus. Brown, a 1984 Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate, is the son of William and Helen Brown, Warsaw. At Wabash, Brown has been named to the dean's list.

Dennis Stouder, 22, son of Dr. and Mrs. Dale Stouder, Warsaw, has been accepted by Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. Dennis is now completing his senior year at Manchester College.

Although Judge Donald Vanderveer has instructed the clerk of the circuit court to see that the names of women are put into the jury box, by the jury commissioners from which names of the jurors for the December term of court will be selected, courthouse officials said it might be possible that names of women might not be on the jury panel. Although the box is always well shaken, the cards sometimes cling together.
