North Webster Church of the Brethren, south of Ind. 13, will have dedication services Nov. 12. The church began groundbreaking inSeptember 1988, and the actual work started in January of this year. Pastor Ralph Smith will bring the morning message followed by a carry-in meal.
Warsaw firefighter Kerry Stogsdill finished the New York City Marathon last weekend in three hours, 59 minutes. The winner completed the race in a little more than two hours.
Jane LaFollette, owner of Cake Creations and More, Warsaw, displayed her wares at the Taste of Kosciusko at Center Lake Pavilion. More than 450 people attended the event sponsored by the American Heart Association.

The Warsaw Community High School choral department will present “Springtime” Nov. 17 and 18 in the school’s auditorium. Featured are Lynn Adkinson, Kathy McClure, Lorraine DePoy, Connie Latta, Pat Painter, Jane Hall, Mikie Evans, Dave Martin, Paul Benson, Dave Barnett, Chuck Harvuot, Pat Valentine and Frank Todd. Playing supporting roles will be other members of the choir, Belles, girls and boys choruses. Margaret Ann Voirol will be directing the operetta.
County Agent Donald Frantz and Robert Mishler, manager of the Farm Bureau Co-Op, were in Chicago last weekend attending the Midwest Egg Marketing Conference at the Sherman Hotel.

With the main entrance of the Warsaw High School building now being enlarged and remodeled and changed from Washington Street to West Main Street, the Board of Works authorized the removal of the flower bed parkway, which is now in the center of the street in the block in front of the high school. The space is needed for automobiles.
Local police have banned the practice of rifle shooting at the gravel pit near Winona Lake because a stray bullet penetrated Dr. John R. White’s home, went through several walls and struck a lamp. Marksmen will be required to go to the National Guard range several miles east of Warsaw.
Radioman Bill Eiler is bringing back a stock of radios from Fort Wayne to Warsaw via airplane.
