    Shannon Sucec, of Warsaw, is a member of the concert choir for the 1999-2000 season at Hanover College. Sucec is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and the daughter of Sharon Sucec, of Warsaw, and Joseph Sucec, of Gahanna, Ohio.

    Members of the Kosciusko County Republican Women's Club will be among those attending the 1984 Tribute to Republican Women this month in Indianapolis, and will be on hand when one local elected official is honored. Kosciusko County Assessor Avis Gunter will be among those Republican women honored this year.

November 13 1959

    Two hundred and twenty quarts of mincemeat, compounded by an old-fashioned recipe, are arranged in rows in the Kitchen of First Methodist Church, awaiting customers at the annual food sale this November. Making the mincemeat took two days of concentrated effort by 30-woman crews, hours of peeling and chopping apples, and vigilant stirring of huge kettle for the four hours required to cook each batch. Half of the quantity have all ready been pre-ordered.

    Business and professional men and Warsaw residents in general are signing a petition asking that Chester R. Zimmerman, popular Warsaw traveling salesman, be appointed Warsaw postmaster when the term of Orville B. Kilmer, present Republican incumbent, expires.
