    Three Warsaw soccer players were named to the 1997 Indiana Soccer Coaches Association District II All-Star teams. Matt Brown and Brett Dickerson were named to the boys all-star team from Warsaw's first semi-state soccer team, and Bobbi Wildman was named to the girls all-star team.

    BOURBON - Triton junior Lorea Feldman was named as most valuable player and also earned the spiking and serving awards for volleyball at Triton High School's fall sports banquet.

Besides Feldman's three awards, the other volleyball honoree was Cristy Rosete for her defensive work.

November 12 1957

    A former Warsawan who designed one of the best computers enabling a guided missile to find and track a moving target has been nominated for one of the outstanding young men in the nation.

He is Paul O. Dodge, son of Mrs. E.H. Dodge, South Buffalo Street, and a graduate of Warsaw High School and Purdue University.

    Ethelyn Ker, of 802 E. Center St, Warsaw, had been selected to play one of the leading roles in "Androcles and the Lion," a play to be given at Purdue University by the Playshop dramatic organization Nov. 18 and 19. Ker will play the part of Lavinia.
