    Bill DeGaetano prepared to be dunked in a dunk tank in a fundraiser for Combined Community Services, an agency that provides help for needy families. The event was arranged by customers of Dig's Diner. The tank was set up outside the diner on South Buffalo Street in Warsaw. About $500 in cash and 1,100 cans of food were collected as a result.

    BOURBON - Sara Lynn Elliott, daughter of William "Jake" and Barbara Elliott, Bourbon, was crowned the 1983 Triton Junior Miss Saturday at the Triton High School auditorium.

Kerri Burnett, also of Bourbon, was named first runner-up of the nine Triton senior girls competing for the title. She is the daughter of Betty Burnett.

    Marjorie Moon of Warsaw, has been selected for membership in the Indiana University girl's glee club, according to the announcement of Prof. John L. Geiger of the I.U. music school and director of the glee club. Fifty-one I.U. co-eds were chosen for the musical organization, 19 of whom are sopranos, 17 mezzo-sopranos and 15 altos. Moon sings alto.
