    Dave Schumaker, head professional at Stonehenge Golf Club, and Jerry Nelson, a member of the Indiana Golf Hall of Fame and Stonehenge, won their third straight Brickyard Crossing golf Resort & Inn/One Call Communications Indiana Senior PGA Pro-Am.

The duo shot a 67 during the final round to go along with their 67 during the opening round for a 134. Their 134 gave them a 10-under par score and a four-shot victory over three teams.

    Curt Anders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Anders, and Lorea Feldman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Feldman, Bourbon, were named homecoming king and queen during halftime ceremonies at the Triton-Northfield football game.

    Charles A. Fawley, Warsaw, recently was promoted to private first class while serving as a truck driver with Task Force 201 in Beirut, Lebanon. He entered the Army in February 1957.

October 9 1933

    James Durham, Warsaw, has been awarded a patent on his fish bobber, applied for some months ago. The patent is dated Aug. 1. Some 13,000 bobbers were sold by Durham during the past summer.
