    Winners of the fall "Pig Outing" at South Shore Golf Club are Jan Grimm, Bill Endler, Butch Van Vactor and Tom Littlefield. The golf outing is conducted each spring and fall and features players from area law enforcement agencies, fire departments and emergency medical services. This year's winning team fired a 6 under par 65 in a scramble format.

    Cadet Sean P. Murphy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Murphy, Warsaw, and Cadet Brett C. Welty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Welty, Etna Green, have been officially accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy's Cadet Wing as a member of the class of 1987 during the annual acceptance parade.

    Nancy Terrell was installed as worthy advisor of the Akron Rainbow Order for Girls at recent public installation rites held at the Akron Masonic Temple.

Linda Lukens, of Rochester, is the junior past worthy advisor.

    A Keiffer pear, weighing one pound and six ounces, measuring 12-1/2 inches in circumference, was exhibited at The Times office by George Elliott, township assessor of west of Warsaw.
