    Christine Stump has been inducted into the 26th edition of "Marquis Who's Who in the Midwest 1998-99."

Stump has written and copyrighted three children's boos: "The Kitten Who Couldn't Grow," "The Christmas Spider" and "Gilbert the Goose."

    At a recent all-day meeting held in Culver for District No. 23 Indiana lodges, two members of Warsaw's Salome Rebekah Lodge No. 27 were elected to district offices. Marjorie Nye, treasurer of Salome Lodge, will serve as treasurer for the district and Jennie Smith, currently the noble grand of Salome Lodge, will be right support of the district vice president.

    North Webster High School students have selected varsity and second team basketball cheerleaders for the coming 1957-58 season.

Janette Christy, Sue Corbin and Barbara Locke will be in charge of the varsity games. Cheers will be led by Alice Warner, Johanna Wright and Caroline Leap during second team contests.

    Ava Malone Teel, county nurse, and Jessie Thayer, Warsaw Red Cross secretary, are in Indianapolis attending at two-day session of the state organization.
