Four new members were recently initiated into the Altrusa Club of Warsaw, a service club for professional women. The new members are: Lori Bolesky-Jones, Scearce Rudisell Architects; Marta Dunwell, Kosciusko Community Hospital; Angie Ritchey, Lake City Bank; and Susan Woodward, Woodward Appraisals (previous member). The local club celebrated its 26th birthday at the same event.
Lisa A. Lemon, of Warsaw, was recently crowned homecoming queen at Hanover College. A senior political science major, she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Lemon, of Warsaw. Another queen candidate at Hanover was Warsaw's Amber D. Wuchter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wuchter.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Tamkin, of Winona Lake, have returned from an Eastern trip. They visited in Washington, D.C., their former home, toured Virginia and spent some time in Hagerstown, Md., with their son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. and Mrs. Warren Tamkin, and grandchildren, Ronnie and Debbie. Tamkin is pastor of Grace Brethren church in Hagerstown.
Announcement was made recently of the coming marriage of Miss Betty Zimmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Zimmer, to Robert Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Morgan. A delightful dinner-bridge party, was given by Mrs. J.O. Zimmer and the Mrs. H.W. Walmer of Culver at the former's home. On the back of Miss Jean Widaman's place-card at dinner was written "Bob and Betty, November 22, at 8 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church."
