    The Tippecanoe Lake Country Club Mixed Couples Bridge Group met Oct. 5 with seven tables playing.

Winners were: Jenny Klose and Betty Miller; Shirley Bricker and Carolyn Merryman; Elaine and Jim Loser; Mary and John Gradle; Lyn and Jim Corbett; Nancy and Jerry Anderson; and Helen Alderfer and Don Miller. Oct. 12 winners were: Nancy and Jerry Anderson; Mary and John Gradle; Charlotte and Pat Blaugher; Mary and Bob Steele; Helen Alderfer and Shirley Gartner; Jo Marose and Bob Ahrns; and Betty Monroe and Jenny Klose.

    Construction of the new city hangar is expected to begin this week at the Warsaw Municipal Airport.

Karen Sheetz, assistant city airport manager, announced that a contract to construct a new $500,000 hangar at the local airport was signed recently by officials of Robinson Construction Co., Warsaw, and the Warsaw Board of Aviation Commissioners.

    Mrs. Shirl Elder entertained nine little friends, celebrating the 10th birthday anniversary of her daughter, Norma Jean. The honored guests received many lovely gifts. Games and contests were enjoyed by those present. They were as follows: Betty Noel, Betty Kelly, Patty Elley, Doris Konkle, Francis Smith, Katherine Denny, Willodean Lucas, Barbara Jean Lear, Marjory Robbins, Donald Elder, Bobby Mathews, Norma Jean Elder and Margaret Elder.
