    Four girls recently competed in the South Bend Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tourney and were Toilet Bowl champions for 12 and under. They are Brittany Rhoades, Heather Ramsey, Beth Leckrone and Ashley Ramsey.

    One of Warsaw's smaller orthopedic firms is again in the spotlight, capturing manufacturing rights for a clever, new would-closing device.

Word that Biomet Inc., would make and market Dermizip, a zipper-like would-closing device, appeared in the Wall Street Journal, boosting that stock from 13-1/4 to 14-1/2.

    A thief wasn't satisfied with just stealing a Warsaw woman's washing off her clothes line. He took her clothes pins, too!

Mrs. Glen Smith, of 305 S. Buffalo St., told city police that four lines of washing, including some blankets, and the clothes pins were stolen from the clothes line at the rear of her home.

October 17 1933

    At her Warsaw home, Mrs. E.B. Funk entertained the Winona Literary Club. During the business session Mrs. John Rowe was appointed a third delegate to the state federation at South Bend. Mrs. Ryan, Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Brown were elected to membership in the club.
