After his junior year he'll enter I.U. law school to major in business law.75 Years Ago The United States patent office granted a patent this week to Earl E. Longfellow of Warsaw for his invention of a surgical apparatus for use in reducing fractures. The device comprises a rock shaft supported on a stand and a pair of frames pivoted to the shaft. A rest engages the arm pit of the patient while the rock shaft connects to the shoulder. The commercial rights to the apparatus have been acquired by Harry Herschel Leiter of Warsaw.
