Robert Cover, 18, a senior at Warsaw Community High School and a third-year machine trades student, demonstrated a project he made using a laser digitizer donated by Zimmer to the Warsaw Machine Trades Center. The digitizer, a $350,000 machine, is being used by WCHS independent study program and by Ivy Tech. According to Jeff Williams, the WCHS teacher in charge of the machine trades program, WCHS is the only educational facility in Indiana using such a digitizer for teaching purposes. The digitizer is similar to one recently purchased by NASA to create new molds for the tiles that cover the space shuttle, and uses a three-dimensional image to reproduce digitized information.

Lieutenant Commander Carl Enger, of New York City, son of Charles Enger, of Warsaw, was among the many to attend the recent Davis Cup tennis matches between Australia and the United States team at the German Cricket Club, New York. A tennis enthusiast himself, Enger hopes to visit in Warsaw sometime the early part of this summer.
