The room was very attractively decorated in a blue and gold color scheme, the senior class colors. The scene was that of a southern plantation, with a blue lighting effect. The principal address of the evening was given by Allan S. Widaman, president of the school board. Refreshments of angel food cake, fresh strawberries, whip cream, nuts and ice tea, were served to approximately 165 members of the two classes and the faculty. Dancing to music furnished by the "Indianians" was enjoyed for the remainder of the evening.
