With donations from her own collection, the woman sparked the boy’s interest in stamp collecting, history and genealogy, which has lasted a lifetime. North Manchester will relive its 150 years of history in a play based on life in this community. “Memory Speaks: North Manchester Celebrates Its First 150 Years,” will be presented at Cordier Auditorium at Manchester College. The play is a timeless recall of the town’s events - and more importantly - the people who shaped those happenings. Parts of the play are narrated by Thomas Marshall  (played by David Grandstaff), a North Manchester native who served as vice president for Woodrow Wilson.
