Bohlin, and in his honor, Dr. John Davis presented the first copy of his latest book to Bohlin, which was also dedicated to him.The dedication reads: "To James J. Bohlin, D.D.S. A skilled physician who represents the best in the practice of medicine. He is a loving father, an avid outdoorsman and active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Musselman, vice president of the Fort Wayne division of Kroger Company. Mentone student winners were: Judy Wagner, Kathy Louise Menzie and Martha Jo Hohman; Claypool students winners were: Sharon Rose Folk and Donna Sue Bruce.75 Years AgoWarsaw will not get the $91,000 improvement of East Center Street. This was the statement issued by Mayor C.C. DuBois, who returned from Indianapolis, where a conference of city officials, Winona Interurban officials and members of the state highway commission was held.The state highway commission demands that a six-inch slab of concrete be placed beneath the street car tracks across the marsh on East Center Street, a distance of 1,500 feet, at a cost of approximately $5,000. Warsaw officials and the interurban officials have said that they would not pay the cost, thus the highway commission said the state would not pave.
