Connie and Mathew Heiman petitioned the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission for a preliminary plat approval for the 40-acre tract. Garber, Warsaw. Her weight is 10 pounds, 3.5 ounces. The first baby born at 2:51 a.m. on Leap Year Day was Allen Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Denney, Warsaw and the winner of gifts from the Times-Union and WRSW.75 Years AgoThe "baby bonds" recently issued by the government to finance it through the depression have been put on sale at the Warsaw post office, according to Orville Kilmer, Warsaw postmaster. The $25 bonds have been the most popular. Bonds offered for sale at the Warsaw post office are $25, $50 and $100. None of the $1,000 bonds were sent to the post office here. It is the first time since World War days that the government has made such arrangements to sell its securities to the "little fellow."
