10 Years AgoIt's only the second semester for Brad Hagg's applied networking class at Tippecanoe Valley High School, but it has already generated a lot of enthusiasm.Hagg, Tippecanoe Valley's director of technology, said, "The goals and objectives are to get the students experience and knowledge about hardware and software and networking and most importantly, about Microsoft networking."25 Years AgoDevon and Martha Sellers, Warsaw, are back down to earth after a very exciting moment while recently attending the White Farm Equipment Dealers meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz. Seems they had the honor of chatting with Neil Armstrong, the first American astronaut to walk on the moon in 1969. Armstrong was the guest speaker at the meeting.50 Years AgoNineteen Indiana Kiwanis clubs were represented as a Governor's Night banquet recently at the Westminster Hotel, Winona Lake, in honor of Hobart Creighton of Warsaw, new Indiana Kiwanis Governor.Crieghton took office Jan. 1 as the top Kiwanian of the Indiana district.75 Years AgoThe Jolly Homemakers' club met recently for an all-day meeting with Mrs. Ed Boggs, south of Warsaw. There were 18 members and three visitors present. Mrs. Lottie Clase gave a talk on parliamentary rules. Mrs. Ethel Huffer and Mrs. John Mort gave interesting demonstrations of handicraft work. After three contests the club adjourned to meet in February.
