The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office has determined the skeletal remains found Sunday are those of a missing 18-year-old from a nearby mobile home park. Aurora Shoemaker, who went missing Aug. 16, 2012, was found in a wooded area near the intersection of CRs 175E and 350N, north of Warsaw, after young people playing in the area happened upon her remains. Official determination on the remains was conducted by an Indianapolis anthropologist and an Allen County forensic dentist. Kosciusko County Coroner Michael Wilson said the investigation into the cause of death is still ongoing with autopsy results estimated to be completed Friday. Foul play is not suspected, authorities said this morning. The scene was processed by the Indianapolis anthropologist and officers from the Kosciusko County Major Crimes Task Force.
