Registrations Now Accepted For Wawasee Continuing Education Courses

SYRACUSE – Registrations are being accepted now through Sept. 3 for fall 2015 Continuing Education Classes at Wawasee High School. The fall classes at Wawasee will begin the week of Sept. 8. Wawasee offers a variety of classes for non-credit, and offers instruction for preparation to pass the GED test to attain a high school diploma. Anyone wanting to register for a class may send registration fee along with name, address and telephone number to the Career/Technical and Continuing Education Office at Wawasee High School, #1 Warrior Path, Building #1, Syracuse IN 46567. If you have questions, call 574-457-3147, Ext. 2209, or come to door 1 at WHS any school day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Offerings for the fall are: • GED: no fee, Monday through Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m. • Swimming, Level I, II, III and IV: $45, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Sept. 8 to 24, for nine classes – infant (6 months to 2 years), 5:30 to 6 or 6 to 6:30 p.m.; Level I, II, III 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.; Level I, II, IV, 7:15 to 8 p.m. Indicate age, time and level of child swimmer. • Water Exercise: $40, Tuesday and Thursday Sept. 29, Oct. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 27, 29 and Nov. 3, 5, 10, 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. • Excel: $60, Monday and Wednesday beginning Sept. 21 through Oct. 7, six classes 6 to 8 p.m. • Fall Harvest – Culinary Arts: $45, Tuesdays beginning Oct. 6, four classes from 6:30 to 8 p.m. • “Pound” Drumming Workout: $40, on Tuesdays, Sept. 15 to Oct. 20, six classes from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.
