SYRACUSE – Registration is open through Sept. 3 for fall 2013 continuing education classes at Wawasee High School, which start the week of Sept. 8. Wawasee offers non-credit classes and instruction for preparation to obtain a GED. To register for a class, send the fee along with name, address and phone number to the Career/Technical and Continuing Education Office at Wawasee High School, 1 Warrior Path, Building 1, Syracuse, IN 46567. For information call 574-457-3147, Ext. 209, or come to the Continuing Education Office, door 1, at Wawasee High School any school day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The offerings for the fall are: • Zumba/Yoga, $30, Tuesday and Thursday beginning Sept. 10, for six classes from 7:15 to 8 p.m. • GED, no fee, Monday through Thursday beginning Sept. 9, 6 to 9 p.m. • Swimming, Level I, II, III & IV, $45, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beginning Sept. 10 for nine classes – infant (6 months to 2 years) 5:30 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 6:30 p.m.; Level I, II, III, 6:30 to 7:15; Level I, II, IV 7:15 to 8 p.m. Indicate ae, time and level of child swimmer. • Water Exercise, $45, Tuesday and Thursday beginning Oct. 1 through Nov. 21, for 14 classes from 6:30 to 8 p.m. •Photography Composition, $40, on Thursday beginning Sept. 26 through Oct. 17, four classes from 6:30 to 8 p.m. You must provide your own camera. • Holiday Baking, $40, on Tuesday and Thursday beginning Oct. 8 to 17, 6:30 to 8 p.m. All supplies included.
